Infrastructure

In our state-of-the-art,  very well equipped lab, we have installed a large number of analytic equipment on over 840 m² surface area:

  • GC systems (Agilent 6890 and 7890) with FID detectors; direct injection cool-on-column and headspace technology; capillary and packed columns 
  • HPLC systems (Merck-Hitachi) with UV-VIS, fluorescence and RI detectors
  • ion chromatograph (Metrohm)
  • IR spectrometer (Thermo), with ATR unit and comprehensive library collection
  • UV-VIS spectrometer (Shimadzu)
  • var. titration systems (Metrohm)
  • coulometer (Metrohm) for trace determination of water
  • modern Secuflow fume and laminar flow cabinets
  • climate chambers for all standard climate conditions acc. to ICH guidelines, including modern electronic logger and alarm system (24/7 surveillance)
  • a large number of smaller analytic equipment for a wide variety of analyses, such as: disintegration, dissolution, tablet hardness, osmometer, melting, boiling and dropping point, polarimeter, refractometer, penetrometer, tapped density determination, opacimeter, rotation viscosimeter, Ubbelohde, tensiometer, stalagmometer, among others.
